132kV Dorenell Wind Farm Connection

Short Description: Delivery of fittings for the 132-kV-Connection of the wind park Dorenell in Scotland. Mosdorfer CCL supplied 300 mm² fittings and OPPC earthwire fittings.

Highlights:

• The first supply of 132kV H configuration Composite Poles with Fittings and Composite Insulators in the UK.
• The installation was carried out using a helicopter to access the challenging terrain of the Scottish Highlands
• This project demonstrated the capability to deliver a highly specialized solution for challenging topography and extreme weather conditions.

400 kV Indian Queen

Short Description: First delivery of composite insulators and fittings for a 400 kV transmission line in England.

400 kV Beauly – Denny Upgrade Project

Short Description: This project included the delivery of the first 320 kN OPGW earth wire system in the UK.
